Brett Bonin is an elected Member of
the Orleans Parish School Board,
Representing District 3. He is Chair of the Board's Legal Committee and serves on its Budget and Finance, Legislative, and Accountability Committees.
He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Louisiana School Board Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA).
He is married with two daughters. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Juris Doctorate from Loyola University. He volunteered with the New Orleans Police Department Crisis Unit for nine years and with the Orleans Parish Civil Sheriff for eight years. His wife is a Preschool director and former elementary school teacher.
